An evolving perspective
If you haven’t changed your mind about something or found yourself re-thinking a previous position or perspective on a single topic over the last year or so, you are not learning as you go.
Consider all that was believed to be the status quo or unable to be done differently a few short weeks ago that is no longer either today and could be on the way to becoming the new status quo.
Revisiting a position or simply altering it a bit is a sign of growth. If all things don’t remain equal, then neither should the way you think. And since our thoughts affect our behavior…there’s a lot at stake.
Change is constant and it’s okay for you to change, even when the people around you don’t like it. In fact, I think change and developing new and different perspectives are a requirement for growth.
